Professor Abruña performs cutting-edge, interdisciplinary research on a wide variety of electrochemical phenomena, working at the nanoscale or synthesizing novel inorganic complexes with interesting electrochemical properties, some of them employed on chemical systems ranging from light-emitting devices (LEDs).
